Architect and researcher whose mission is to create user-friendly cities for a lifetime. Assistant Professor at the Department of Urban Design and Spatial Planning at the Silesian University of Technology.
Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology, founder of the URBANMODEL research group.
Architect with many years of professional experience, specializing in managing complex architectural projects.
We are students at the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, where we work together on many projects, both during classes at the university and in the URBANMODEL Research Club, of which we are members.
We both serve as editors of the monograph Models of the GZM Metropolis Structure – A Game of the Metropolis, responsible for the content and the design of the cards, which we created together with a group of other students. The cards for this game are currently available for purchase.
In the Research Club, we are continuing to develop this project by expanding it into a board game, which is also available for purchase. Together, we are growing professionally by sharing common interests and views on the need to develop teaching methods. We want to enrich education by introducing elements that are both well-thought-out and appealing to both instructors and students. Our goal is to create tools that will support the development of architectural science and education in a modern and engaging way.
Together, we built from scratch (using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) the website — myvirtualclient.pl — that promotes our idea, which you are currently viewing.
I am interested in designing modern and functional solutions that combine architecture, design, and technology. I am particularly interested in the development of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and its application in the design process, interdisciplinary coordination, and streamlining the work of design teams.
I am also developing my skills in front-end programming and web development, viewing them as tools that support design and communication in architecture.
My interest in integrating technology with architecture has allowed me to go beyond the traditional framework of design and create solutions that support student education. I am a co-author of a monograph and the card game 'Models of the GZM Metropolis Structure – The Metropolis Game,' as well as the author of a web application created for the URBANMODEL Research Club operating at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology.
The app serves as a set of virtual fact cards that complement the board game 'Gra w Metropolię – Metropoli'. After scanning the QR codes, players gain access to additional content, such as trivia questions about the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis. The app is available at the link below: Quiz – Game of Metropolis GZM.
In my free time, I develop both my technological and design skills, seeking ways to integrate architecture, BIM, and digital tools to create solutions that support the design process and architectural education.
My passions are graphic design and 3D design, which I pursue both in an academic setting and outside of school. During my studies, I co-created a monograph and a card game titled *Models of the GZM Metropolis Structure – The Metropolis Game, contributing to both the visual aspects and the content of the project.
I view graphic design and the creation of three-dimensional forms as a space for developing creative ideas and exploring new solutions. In my projects, aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand, attracting attention while clearly communicating the concept.
I also have experience in brand identity design. I create logos, business cards, and various types of materials that support a company's image and promotional activities. When working on brand identity, I focus on building a cohesive brand character that sets it apart from others. I treat each project individually, selecting solutions that best meet the client's or project's needs.
In my free time, I create both digital and hand-drawn posters, treating them as a space to experiment with composition, typography, and form. I combine traditional techniques with digital tools, developing my own style. Additionally, I create videos, honing my editing skills, which gives my stories greater dynamism.
